How does the RS-H system function to remove hydrogen sulfide?

The RS-H system incorporates Filtersorb HSR which acts as a catalytically working filter media that oxidizes hydrogen sulfide to the precipitated particulate form which is then trapped in the filter bed of the second tank and subsequently removed during the backwash cycle.

The Advantage of the RS-H System

Neither regeneration nor the use of any chemicals is required. Daily or every second day backwash is required to remove the sulfur precipitates.

There is NO pH alteration required within the range of 5 to 9.
